Brighton's Brajan Gruda still dreams of playing for top club...like Bayern Munich
"There was interest at the beginning, of course. But I can't say more than that,"
"My biggest dream is to play in the Champions League and the national team. I want to play for a top club like Bayern, Real, Barcelona or Liverpool."
Brajan Gruda moved from Mainz 05 to Brighton & Hove Albion in 2024 and is now 21 years old. Bayern Munich showed interest in him at one point, but a transfer to Bayern did not materialize. Gruda has stated that he aspires to play in the Champions League and for the German national team, and he names Bayern, Real, Barcelona and Liverpool as clubs he wants to play for. This season Gruda has three goals and three assists in 20 appearances, operating mainly as a right winger and attacking midfielder. His Brighton contract runs through the 2027/28 season, and a national team call-up could accelerate a move to a bigger club.
