Bayern Munich's Tom Bischof nominated for Golden Boy award
"Bayern Munich has always had at least a couple of players who were more than just eligible for the Golden Boy award. The award is given by Italian sports newspaper Tuttosport, to the best footballers under 21 playing in Europe. Unfortunately, only one Bayern Munich player has won this award since it was established in 2003 - Renato Sanches. This year, Bayern player Tom Bischof has been nominated for the same."
"Previous nominees from the club include Jamal Musiala, so its quite an exclusive club. Fans can now vote for Bischof on the Tuttosport website, which shows the entire list of nominees. At the time of writing this, Tom Bischof actually has more votes than the likes of Lamine Yamal and Désiré Doué, but there's still plenty of time for that, so Bayern fans have to make sure to keep the difference up."
Tom Bischof of Bayern Munich was nominated for the Golden Boy award, presented by Italian newspaper Tuttosport to Europe's best players under 21. Since the award began in 2003, only Renato Sanches has won it while at Bayern Munich. Past Bayern nominees have included Jamal Musiala, underscoring the club's selective representation. The Tuttosport website displays the full nominee list and permits fan voting. Voting totals have Bischof currently ahead of players such as Lamine Yamal and Désiré Doué, though late changes in votes remain possible and supporters are encouraged to maintain or increase his lead.
