Bayern Munich's players and coach thank club staff for clearing snow off training ground
"Heavy snow has been hitting all parts of Germany over the past few weeks, to the point that many Bundesliga games (and even more Frauen Bundesliga games) were forced back to later dates. Bayern Munich did not have to reschedule any of their matches (yet - the Frauen had two games postponed), but the snowy conditions made training at Säbener Straße almost impossible on Thursday, although it did spark a few impromptu snowball fights."
"To make sure Friday's session went ahead as planned, a bunch of staff members at the training ground picked up a shovel and cleared the snow off the pitch. The team was therefore able to train as planned without any issues ahead of Saturday's Bundesliga game against Eintracht Frankfurt. Coach Vincent Kompany personally thanked the ground staff and took a team picture with them in the background. Should Bayern get a good result against Frankfurt, the fans will know who to thank first."
Heavy snow across Germany forced many Bundesliga and Frauen Bundesliga matches to be postponed. Bayern Munich's men's team avoided rescheduling, while the Frauen side had two games postponed. Thick snow at Säbener Straße made Thursday training nearly impossible and led to impromptu snowball fights. Ground staff cleared the pitch on Friday by shoveling snow, enabling the squad to train as planned ahead of Saturday's Bundesliga match against Eintracht Frankfurt. Coach Vincent Kompany thanked the ground staff and posed for a team photo with them in the background. The staff's efforts ensured the planned preparation could proceed.
