Bayern Munich's Jonathan Tah on how he likes his new home
"I like Munich very, very much. It's definitely the best weather I've ever seen in Germany," Tah said with a laugh (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). "I like the people; they seem very warm and welcoming. There are a lot of Bayern fans in the city. The surroundings are great, lots of greenery. I've already been to Lake Tegernsee and Lake Starnberg. I rented a boat there and went for a ride on the lake."
"Munich - together with the surrounding areas - is a great place to visit. As Tah mentioned, the weather has been great every time that I have visited - blue skies and sunny when the rest of my trip has been rainy and grey once I leave. The people in Munich have always been friendly and helpful. The fact that many of them are Bayern fans and that other Bayern fans travel there for gameday, makes a fun atmosphere on gamedays."
"Munich is very green with a lot of parks and recreation areas not far from the busy streets of the central districts. The further away from the city center you go, the more greenspace you see. You do not have to go very far before you are hit the lakes that Tah mentioned. Multiple lakes are reachable by a short train ride."
Jonathan Tah has lived in Munich for about six months and likes the city very much. He describes the weather as the best he has seen in Germany and finds the locals warm and welcoming. He notes a strong Bayern fan presence and enjoys the surrounding greenery and accessibility of lakes such as Tegernsee and Starnberg, where he rented a boat. Munich combines busy central districts with nearby parks and recreation areas, and multiple lakes are reachable by a short train ride. The friendly atmosphere and attractive surroundings make Munich a strong selling point for potential football signings.
