Albertin Montoya will leave Bay FC at the end of the season after serving as head coach since the club's 2023 founding and overseeing its first two NWSL seasons. Montoya led Bay FC to 11 wins in the inaugural season, an NWSL record for an expansion side, and guided the club into the 2024 playoffs. Bay FC currently sits 12th in the 14-team table, nine points outside the final playoff spot with seven matches remaining. Kay Cossington will lead sporting operations and will work with sporting director Matt Potter to select a coach for 2026 and beyond.
