"If Carvajal wanted to speak to Lamine, he could do so in private, If he thinks he shouldn't do things like [make those comments], he could call him. They're teammates [with Spain], they know each other. Why do you have to make a scene on the pitch?"
"Lamine didn't say that they rob, not directly, He's there doing stuff for the Kings League, people are saying things, but I have not heard Lamine saying exactly that. I can understand Madrid's players, but the reaction was exaggerated."
Real Madrid beat Barcelona 2-1, ending four straight Clásico defeats and extending their LaLiga lead over Barcelona to five points. Lamine Yamal was jeered throughout the game by Madrid supporters after comments he made on the Kings League's YouTube channel comparing Madrid to a team in that league. Dani Carvajal approached Yamal at full time and made a hand gesture that appeared to contribute to clashes between players. Frenkie de Jong said Carvajal should have spoken to Yamal in private, noted they are Spain teammates, and described the reaction as exaggerated. The hostile atmosphere included jeers when Yamal's name was read out and whistles at his touches as he learns to handle spectator abuse.
