Patrick Bamford departed Leeds by mutual consent after a seven-year spell in which he scored 60 goals in 205 appearances following a 7m move from Middlesbrough in 2018. Bamford featured in two promotion-winning campaigns and scored 17 goals during Leeds' 2020 Premier League season under Marcelo Bielsa. Manager Daniel Farke informed Bamford he was not part of plans and would have to train with the under-21 squad if he stayed. Isaac Schmidt joined Werder Bremen after making 14 appearances following a move from St. Gallen. Largie Ramazani has joined Valencia on loan after scoring six goals to help Leeds win the Championship but suffering an ankle ligament injury. Leeds have made 10 signings since promotion, including James Justin for 10m and forwards and midfield reinforcements.

Belgian winger Ramazani, who was part of the Manchester United youth set-up, returns to Spain having previously spent four seasons with Almeria from 2020.
