Aitana Bonmatí won her third consecutive Ballon d'Or Féminin at age 27. She helped Barcelona to a domestic treble last season. Barcelona lost the Women's Champions League final to Arsenal in May. Spain lost the Women's European Championship to England on penalties in July. Bonmatí was named Player of the Tournament at the Euros and is a member of Spain's 2023 World Cup-winning squad.
