Arsenal 1-1 Manchester City: Premier League player ratings
"David Raya Stood no chance with Haaland's goal and did better with his second attempt. Largely a spectator. 6 Jurrien Timber Unusual to see him tested physically, but Doku's pace and trickery were a handful to deal with. 6 Riccardo Calafiori Gallops all over the pitch with boundless energy. Can't be accused of lacking effort. 7 William Saliba Could have picked an easier game to return from an ankle injury than having to face Haaland on song. 6"
"Gabriel Magalhaes Left for dead by Haaland's pace for the opening goal. Not at his typical commanding best. 6 Martin Zubimendi Grew in influence as the game went on, but could not keep his shot on target when the ball fell to him. 7 Declan Rice Never short of endeavour, as always, even if it was often wasted. Much more effective higher up the pitch. 6 Mikel Merino Lucky not to be punished after twice losing the ball on edge of own area. Far too ponderous at times. 4"
"Subs: Eberechi Eze (for Merino, ht) Almost made an immediate impact off bench and provided brilliant pass for late equaliser 8; Bukayo Saka (for Madueke, ht) Added impetus down the right. Needs more time after injury 6; Gabriel Martinelli (for Timber, 80) Will be disappointed to have had to wait so long after midweek heroics, but made it count when it mattered 8; Ethan Nwaneri (for Trossard, 84) Should have been introduced earlier 6; Cristhian Mosquera (for Zubimendi, 90+5) n/a"
