Angel City welcomes infusion of talent with hope of netting more wins
Briefly

Sveindís Jane Jónsdóttir, eager to play in the NWSL, signed with Angel City after her experience with the Icelandic national team. She joined alongside new players Evelyn Shores and Hannah Seabert, who aim to strengthen the team. Angel City currently sits in 11th place in the league. Jónsdóttir was excited to play for coach Alexander Straus, whom she knows from past encounters. Seabert, having played abroad, pursued her goal of joining Angel City and felt a strong connection during her visit to the team.
"When Angel City came up, I was just really excited about it. I know Alex. I played against him when he was at Bayern and so I knew he was a great coach."
"As soon as Angel City opened up several years back, I just knew it was a team I wanted to be a part of. When I came and visited here a couple weeks ago, it felt like a home away from home."
