"I don't know yet, he said. I've just been working hard every day head down, grit my teeth and get through it. I can't wait to get back fit I'm so hungry, I'm working so hard. The medical team at Tottenham have been amazing, the manager, all the coaches, everyone has been very supportive, and like myself they all can't wait to see me back on the pitch."
"I'm just focusing on the rehab, he said."
James Maddison damaged his ACL during a pre-season friendly against Newcastle United in Seoul, around two weeks before the new season. He had already missed the end of the previous season with a separate knee injury and missed the Europa League final. Maddison has been undertaking rehabilitation work since the ACL injury and attended the PUMA flagship store launch in central London during his recovery. ACL recovery is typically around nine months, which could target a May return, but no specific timeline has been set. Tottenham's medical team, manager and coaches are providing strong support. The injury also delays his hopes of returning to England contention for next summer's tournament.
