"A brace from Julian Quinones helped Al-Qadsiah beat Al-Ittihad 2-1 and extend their winning run in the Saudi Pro League to six games. After Karim Benzema put the visitors ahead from the penalty spot, Quinones struck either side of the break as Al-Qadsiah continued their fine vein of form to move within one point of second-placed Al-Nassr, and third-placed Al-Ahli, in the standings."
"Quinones then got his first in the 37th minute, converting into an unguarded net from Christopher Bonsu Baah's low cross, which went through the legs of Danilo Pereira and through to the striker. Al-Qadsiah started the second half stronger, with Mateo Retegui smashing the woodwork with a half-volley, and they eventually went ahead after Quinones controlled a pass from Mohammed Abu Al Shamat before turning his marker and firing past Mohammed Al Absi."
Julian Quinones scored twice as Al-Qadsiah came from behind to beat Al-Ittihad 2-1, extending their Saudi Pro League winning run to six matches. Karim Benzema put Al-Ittihad ahead from the penalty spot after a clumsy foul by Gaston Alvarez on Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti. Quinones equalised in the 37th minute from Christopher Bonsu Baah's low cross and then netted the winner early in the second half after controlling a pass from Mohammed Abu Al Shamat and firing past Mohammed Al Absi. Al-Qadsiah produced better chances and a higher xG (1.94) than Al-Ittihad (1.45). Quinones has 15 league goals, second only to Cristiano Ronaldo.
