"Bayern Munich is steamrolling into the week and is scorching hot. However you want to put it, the Bavarians are riding high and playing better than they have at point since 2020. This has truly been a fun ride to watch, but it is far from over. In the midst of all of that, we have a ton of news going on and a lot of it (hell, all of it) is positive at this stage."
"I haven't done anything different. Things are going well right now; we're playing well, we're working well together. I think we've really gelled as a team after such a short preseason, including with the new players. And things are working out right now. I haven't changed anything. I think I'm really enjoying the game, especially playing centrally. There's bit more space, more freedom, and it's just working out right now,"
Konrad Laimer, nominally a midfielder, has primarily played at right-back and left-back this season and has improved both individual wingers and overall team performance. Bayern Munich are considering offering Laimer a new contract beyond 2027; initial talks have taken place, with intensified negotiations possible and an agreement this year conceivable. Serge Gnabry reports sustained strong form and enjoyment, especially when playing centrally where he finds more space and freedom. Bayern Munich are performing at a high level, playing better than at any point since 2020, and the club is also beginning discussions around other contract situations such as Manuel Neuer.
