Aberdeen sign Olusanya on loan from Houston
"Olusanya is delighted to have joined "a huge club" and wants "to score goals"."
""The last two years at St Mirren were good for me," he told Aberdeen's website. "Scottish football is where I really made a name for myself and hopefully, I can pick up where I left off.""
""We've been clear that during this window we need to make changes to the dynamics of the squad," he said. "Toyosi's arrival bolsters our attacking options and offers a different threat to what we currently have in the squad. He is physical and brings an aggression that we need at this moment.""
Toyosi Olusanya has joined Aberdeen on loan from Major League Soccer side Houston Dynamo. He was bought by Houston from St Mirren in April but made only six substitute appearances before a first-half season loan to Doncaster Rovers, where he made 11 appearances, eight as a substitute. Olusanya has not scored since his February goal for St Mirren but scored 19 goals in 85 appearances for the Paisley club. He described Aberdeen as a huge club, said he wants to score goals and hopes to pick up where he left off. Aberdeen signed him to replace Jesper Karlsson and to add physicality and attacking options while the club searches for a permanent manager.
