""It was very nice to score after one minute in the game," Igor Jesus told BBC Radio Nottingham afterwards."

""I want to continue like this.""
""the modern-day Drogba""
Igor Jesus celebrates goals by mimicking Goku’s energy blast from Dragon Ball Z and scored after 82 seconds as a substitute in Nottingham Forest’s 2-1 Europa League win at Utrecht. The goal was his fourth in Europe and seventh in all competitions for Forest since joining from Botafogo in the summer. His career began at Coritiba five years ago, helping secure promotion, before a move to Shabab Al-Ahli where he scored 46 goals in 92 games. He returned to Botafogo in July 2024, won Serie A and the Copa Libertadores, and scored on his Brazil debut in October. Tim Vickery described him as "the modern-day Drogba" after a Club World Cup winner against Paris St-Germain.
