The ownership group, led by principal owner Mitchell Rechler and team president Peter Zaratin, announced a privately funded $25 million project for a 2,500-seat stadium and training facility at Mitchel Athletic Complex in Uniondale, expandable to 5,000 seats, with groundbreaking expected next spring. The organization intends to create a local development pipeline from youth to college to the professional ranks and aims to introduce a women's professional team in the future.
