A last push? Bayern Munich eyeing Chelsea defender Josh Acheampong
Briefly

European clubs are finalizing last-minute transfer moves as the window closes. Bayern Munich is considering a loan for Chelsea defender Josh Acheampong with an option to buy, while Chelsea remain reluctant to sell. He started the Premier League opener against Crystal Palace but was replaced by Malo Gusto in subsequent matches. Bayern could provide squad depth amid injuries, though immediate playing time may not increase compared with his current role at Chelsea.
Per information from The Guardian's Jacob Steinberg (via @iMiaSanMia), Bayern is pondering the idea of a potential move for Chelsea defender Josh Acheampong in what would be a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of said loan. Despite Bayern's interest, the reigning FIFA Club World Cup champions have been adamant that the defender is not for sale this summer for any price even though they have not lost any defenders during this summer's transfer window thus far,
The 19-year old has a contract with the Blues that runs through June 2029 and made his breakthrough into the first team last winter under Enzo Maresca, making the majority of his starts and appearances in Chelsea's Europa Conference League run up through winning the competition. He also started Chelsea's Premier League season opener against Crystal Palace this season. In the subsequent two matches against West Ham United and then Fulham, Malo Gusto replaced Acheampong in the starting lineup and the youngster was an unused sub on the bench.
