Japan's Inawashiro Ski Resort has found a rather interesting way to make the lift line feel more productive, offering a free, fast waxing for your skis or snowboard while you're waiting."
"Inawashiro's "Wax Tunnel" applies a liquid wax to the gear, drying in under 30 seconds and sending you out on your way for a faster lap. The wax tunnel is open from 8:30am to 4pm every day, running from December 19th, 2025, to March 22nd, 2026. There's a tunnel at the base area of the mountain and the Minero area of the mountain, and they're all free."
