"Beginning this winter, AirFlare will support the Snow Angel Foundation's collision-prevention and safety-training initiatives by providing complimentary annual app subscriptions to Snow Angel staff, volunteers, partners, and employees at ski areas where Snow Angel delivers training. AirFlare will also elevate Snow Angel messaging across its network of ski area clients and participate in on-mountain safety events to help guests "Ride Another Day.""
""Snow Angel Foundation has changed the conversation around collision awareness," Denis Lee, CEO and co-founder of AirFlare, said. "Their work is deeply personal and universally important. AirFlare is honored to support their mission by equipping ski area staff and mountain communities with tools that help keep guests safe and empower faster, more informed responses when help is needed.""
"Founded by Chauncy and Kelli Johnson in honor of their daughter Elise, who died in a tragic Christmas Eve collision in 2010, the Snow Angel Foundation has become a national voice for ski and snowboard collision awareness. The Foundation's programs-including the widely recognized "Ride Another Day" campaign developed in partnership with the National Ski Areas Association-aim to reduce injuries and fatalities by promoting responsibility, awareness, and shared-space etiquette on the mountain."
AirFlare is partnering with the Snow Angel Foundation to advance collision-prevention and mountain safety through education, awareness, and technology. AirFlare will provide complimentary annual app subscriptions to Snow Angel staff, volunteers, partners, and employees at ski areas where Snow Angel delivers training, and will elevate Snow Angel messaging across its ski area network. AirFlare will participate in on-mountain safety events, provide lifetime app access for Snow Angel partners and eligible ski area employees, and offer outreach support at industry events. Snow Angel promotes responsibility, awareness, and shared-space etiquette through programs including the Ride Another Day campaign.
