Ski Patrol Tips Off Local Father & Son About Ultimate Powder Stash
""Have you ever had very first tracks of the season somewhere? Really special to get the first tracks (other than ski patrol) in Boundary Bowl. Something that, despite growing up at Norquay, I've never had before. Even cooler was being able to share it with my dad and then proceed to lap the bowl all day." -KJ Read Really cool to see this father and son share an unforgettable moment at this incredible ski resort. Just goes to show that being polite and making friends with ski patrol can pay major dividends."

A father and son riding the North American chairlift at Mt. Norquay were asked by a ski patroller to wait while he unloaded at the top. The patroller informed them he would drop the rope on a section of the mountain that had remained closed all season, offering them first access to a massive powder stash. The pair followed and enjoyed first tracks in Boundary Bowl, lapping the bowl all day. Mt. Norquay's base elevation is 1680 meters and top elevation 2450 meters, with a 503-meter vertical, 77 runs across 190 acres, multiple lifts, average snowfall of 300 cm, and 85% snowmaking coverage.
