"Revelstoke Mountain Resort will open for the 2025-26 winter season this Saturday following a week of new snowfall and improving upper-mountain conditions. Resort staff have spent recent days preparing lifts, grooming designated routes, and assessing terrain, and the resort says it is ready to welcome skiers and riders for the first turns of the season. The recent storm delivered what the resort described as "a substantial refresh," but early-season hazards remain across the mountain."
"Revelstoke notes that the best conditions will be found on groomed, on-piste terrain at higher elevations, and that downloading will be mandatory on both gondolas. Five lifts are scheduled to operate on opening day: the Revelation Gondola, Cupcake Carpet, Stellar Chair, Ripper Chair, and Stoke Chair. Terrain below the Stoke base will remain closed until coverage improves, and each lift other than the gondola will offer at least one groomed route from top to bottom."
""Our team has been hard at work preparing the mountain, and we're excited to share the first tracks of winter with you this weekend," the resort wrote on social media. Revelstoke cautioned that off-piste travel is not advised at this stage of the season. Glade skiing is discouraged, and unmarked hazards will be present throughout ungroomed areas. Revelstoke plans to expand terrain as conditions allow and is encouraging guests to stay updated on its website and social channels ahead of the weekend."
