New Cirque T-Bar Opens Friday, February 13, as 6" of Snow Blankets Aspen Snowmass, CO - SnowBrains

"Aspen Snowmass, Colorado, invites the community and visitors to celebrate the grand opening of the new Cirque T-Bar on Friday, February 13, at Snowmass. A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. at the base of the Cirque T-Bar. Aspen Snowmass leadership will make remarks before the first bar loads. The ceremony is open to the public, and guests are invited to celebrate the opening and ride the new T-Bar for the first time."

"The new Cirque T-Bar replaces the former platter lift, doubling rider capacity and reducing wait times while maintaining the character of the iconic terrain. The Cirque is the only T-Bar lift across Aspen Snowmass ' four mountains and is the resort's highest elevation lift. This opening marks another major milestone in Aspen Snowmass' continued investment in its mountains and guest experience, bringing increased capacity and improved access to some of Snowmass' best high alpine terrain."

A new Cirque T-Bar at Snowmass opens with a public ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, February 13 at 11 a.m., and guests are invited to ride the lift. The installation replaces a platter lift, doubling rider capacity and reducing wait times while maintaining the iconic terrain's character. Terrain accessed from the Cirque chair includes High Pass to High Alpine trails and Rocky Mountain High, with the Cirque Headwall and additional terrain opening as conditions allow. The Cirque serves expert-only terrain and may present variable conditions. Updated terrain status is available on the Aspen Snowmass app.
