Recent freezing rain turned Mont Sainte Anne into a skating rink, but fresh snow on Thursday night improved conditions. The temperature was around -5 °C with good visibility. Skiing began on the south side, utilizing the new traverse run to access expert sections. La P. A. Rousseau, a challenging double black mogul run, was skied first. La Crête offered stunning views and is considered a signature run. The north side featured intermediate terrain, including a run named after gold medalist Mélanie Turgeon. The afternoon was spent on expert terrain off Gros Vallon.
