"Monarch Mountain announced in a social media post that Telluride employees and their dependents are eligible for up to three complimentary lift tickets. In addition, guests with a valid Telluride season pass or proof of a Telluride day ticket purchased between December 29 and January 8 can receive free skiing at Monarch as well. According to the ski area, impacted guests may receive up to one complimentary ticket per day, for a maximum of three days, through January 8, 2026."

Monarch is located near Salida with nine lifts and 1,146 acres, relies on natural snowfall, has more than half its trails open, and may open its No Name Basin pending snowfall.
