The weather in Brossard indicated ideal conditions for spring snowboarding. After a season in Canada due to stolen passports, new documents allowed travel to Vermont. The Indy Pass's expansion provided access to various resorts in Canada. A trip to the Frelighsburg/North Berkshire border led to a stay at The Black Lantern Inn, which exceeded expectations. Familiarity with northern Vermont was rekindled through a drive past significant locations, although some routes remained closed until later in the season.
