"The Manlius-based center has long been a local hub for skiing, tubing, mini golf, and family outings. Opened in the 1960s, Four Seasons became a go-to destination for beginners and families looking for accessible outdoor fun close to Syracuse. Now, in its final days, the center is holding a liquidation sale-with hundreds of skis, boots, and rental equipment available for purchase. Larger items like the mini golf course fixtures, batting cage, and chairlift are also being sold."
"Not all of Four Seasons' equipment will disappear, however. Its conveyor lift, which once carried tubing guests to the top of the hill, has been purchased by Oak Mountain in Speculator, New York, which plans to reuse it at their tubing hill. Though the lift has been in service for about two decades, it remains in solid working condition and will continue to serve skiers and tubers for years to come."
Four Seasons Golf & Ski Center will close permanently on November 15, 2025 following a pending property sale and the owner's retirement. The Manlius facility operated for 63 years and offered skiing, tubing, mini golf, batting cage, and family outings, serving beginners and local families since the 1960s. The property is zoned for commercial and agricultural use and will not continue as a recreation area under the sale. A liquidation sale is underway, including hundreds of skis, boots, rental gear, mini golf fixtures, batting cage, and chairlift. Oak Mountain in Speculator purchased the conveyor lift for reuse. Maintaining a small ski hill required sustained effort and long hours.
