The lodge is located in Wyoming’s Bighorn National Forest and serves skiers, riders, and hikers exploring the mountainous terrain. MAS Tierra will operate the property with plans to prepare it for the 2026/27 winter season. The venture is backed by Miami-based MAS Alpha Securities and was founded by Jose Mas Jr., emphasizing meaningful experiences rooted in a deep connection to place. The company aims to respect the natural environment while creating a grounding, elevated, and engaging guest experience. Meadowlark offers skiing with two lifts, 14 runs, and 1,000 feet of vertical drop, plus beginner and advanced terrain. The acquisition reflects a broader trend of larger companies buying small resorts due to rising costs and inconsistent snowfall.
