"The upper mountain looked inviting, with the grooming crew having laid down perfect corduroy on most of the blues and several blacks."
"Stepping off at the summit, we were hit with one of the most breathtaking views in the Pacific Northwest. Mount Rainier loomed impossibly close, its massive, glaciated bulk filling the skyline to 14,411 feet."
"By mid-morning, the sun began to soften the surface, turning the snow into those glorious spring conditions that skiers dream about."
Crystal Mountain in Washington provided an ideal spring skiing experience with clear skies and warm temperatures. The drive from Seattle revealed stunning views of Mount Rainier. The lower mountain showed signs of spring, but the upper mountain had excellent snow coverage and well-groomed runs. The summit offered breathtaking vistas of Mount Rainier and the Cascade Range. Skiing on the groomed runs was enjoyable, with the snow softening under the sun, creating perfect conditions for a memorable day on the slopes.
