Copper Mountain Welcomes Guinness World Record Holder As He Reaches 15 Million Vertical Feet Skied In A Year
"Copper Mountain welcomed Guinness World Record Holder Thomas Hart, a.k.a. "Racer Tom", to their slopes this week as he pushed his vertical feet skied in 2025 up to 15 million. According to Guinness World Records, his record for the greatest vertical distance skied downhill in a year currently sits at 11,421,065 ft. Those numbers were put down between October 23rd, 2024, and June 15th, 2025."
"It's not exactly clear if the 15 million feet will count toward a new record or not, but if you have a look at the Ikon Pass leaderboards you'll see his name way up at the top. So far for the 2025/2026 season, Racer Tom has skied 11 days, ridden 546 lifts, and skied 586,506 feet. That's pretty unbelievable. Racer Tom has broken his own record a few times now, and it doesn't seem like he has any plans to stop anytime soon."
