Vail Resorts Just Announced a New Way to Save on Lift Tickets-Here's How to Get Over 30% Off
""Up until this season, there were two ways to save on lift access at our mountain resorts-you could either purchase an Epic Pass or Epic Day Pass pre-season for a huge value, or save a smaller amount on lift tickets by purchasing online at least seven days in advance-our goal is to fill that gap," Rob Katz, the CEO of Vail Resorts, said in a statement shared with Travel + Leisure."
"The new discount will be available for tickets to 12 different Vail-owned resorts: Vail Mountain, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Crested Butte in Colorado; Park City Mountain in Utah; Northstar and Heavenly in California and Nevada; Stowe, Okemo, and Mount Snow in Vermont; and Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia, Canada. With the new discount, visitors can save more than $100 per lift ticket if they time their trip right. But the actual price of a lift ticket will vary depending on the mountain."
Vail Resorts will offer a new discount averaging more than 30 percent off lift tickets at 12 North American resorts for the 2025/2026 season. The discount requires tickets to be purchased at least four weeks before the trip. Eligible resorts include Vail Mountain, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Crested Butte, Park City Mountain, Northstar, Heavenly, Stowe, Okemo, Mount Snow, and Whistler Blackcomb. The first eligible day is Jan. 5, 2026. Visitors can save more than $100 per lift ticket depending on timing, though actual prices vary by mountain. About 25 percent of visitors buy regular lift tickets; under 2 percent buy day-of window tickets.
