She recorded the fastest second run on deteriorating snow to narrowly beat Camille Rast by 0.09sec, with Lara Colturi third, 0.57sec back. Shiffrin finished the first run fourth before delivering a fluid, attacking second run. She described the day as hard, citing tough conditions, strong competition and pressure, and said she produced the best possible run. Shiffrin now has a maximum 500 slalom points from five races and leads the overall standings with 698 points.
