Kim has only been in one competition this season last month in Copper Mountain and while warming up for the final there, she suffered a shoulder injury, as well."
Chloe Kim tore the labrum in her shoulder during a training run in Switzerland but says the injury is the less severe type. She has already qualified for the U.S. Olympic team and remains the heavy favorite in the women's halfpipe if healthy. Kim will not compete this weekend and may miss other tune-up events while limiting snowboarding until just before the Olympics. She has only competed once this season and suffered a prior shoulder injury while warming up for a final in Copper Mountain. Kim will wear an uncomfortable shoulder brace, did not specify which shoulder was injured, and briefly shows picking up boyfriend Myles Garrett in her video while expressing gratitude and emotional ups and downs.
