Anti-Elon Musk stickers are being snapped up by Tesla owners who can't sell
Briefly

Matthew Hiller, an aquarium worker, has experienced a significant uptick in sales of his anti-Elon Musk bumper stickers, selling between 400-500 daily. This surge coincides with Musk's controversial political stance, particularly his appearances at a Trump rally, which have alienated some Tesla owners. Many customers view these stickers as an expression of their dissatisfaction, with comments reflecting embarrassment over owning a Tesla. Hiller's stickers have not only sold well domestically but also garnered international demand, indicating a widespread discontent with Musk's political affiliations.
"The response to the stickers since he's allied himself with Trump has been unbelievable," said Hiller, expressing how Musk's politics impacted sticker sales.
Some customers expressed, 'thank you for making this, I can drive my car again and it's less embarrassing,' reflecting a change in sentiment due to Musk's actions.
Hiller noted, "They are either in a spot where they financially can't sell it and they're stuck with it, or they can't sell it because the value has gone down."
Hiller’s stickers are now reaching international buyers, with orders coming from multiple countries such as France, Japan, and Canada, showcasing a global response.
