Las Vegas has welcomed its first H-Mart after almost three years of anticipation, with over 400 people attending the grand opening. Fans, eager to explore the store's diverse offerings ranging from unique snacks to fresh produce, lined up early, with some camping out overnight. The opening was celebrated with lively performances, including lion dancers and showgirls, embodying the vibrant Las Vegas spirit. Customers voiced their excitement over the variety available compared to other local stores, highlighting a five-year wait for such a comprehensive Asian grocery option.
"We want to get first dibs on the freshest produce like the cases of Champagne mango," says Mel Laureno. "Plus, get Hello Kitty toilet paper and Lotte melon ice cream."
"I've been waiting five years for it to open," says Erin Koch, who picked up a $31.99 store-brand hot pot kit, discounted to $19.99 for the grand opening.
