Dutch Bros eyes second San Jose site at shuttered Burger King
"Dutch Bros will be very successful at this location. They have an approach that their followers just love. Dutch Bros is a great tenant and a great company. They do quadruple espresso shots and they are very popular with the younger generation."
"Dutch Bros Coffee, known for their upbeat baristas and genuinely caring service, is a growing drive-through coffee company. The former Burger King building on Monterey Road totals about 2,700 square feet and occupies a 0.8-acre parcel. The drive-thru lane will accommodate the stacking of up to 20 vehicles."
Dutch Bros Coffee is expanding in San Jose with two proposed drive-thru locations. The primary site is a 2,700-square-foot former Burger King at 2170 Monterey Road near The Plant shopping center, featuring a drive-thru lane accommodating up to 20 vehicles and 33 parking spaces. A second proposal targets a former Wendy's at 2624 South Bascom Avenue. Both projects involve redevelopment and conversion of existing structures. The coffee shops will have no interior seating and no external speakers for orders. Dutch Bros operates over 1,081 locations across 24 states with more than 24,000 employees, known for upbeat service and specialty drinks like quadruple espresso shots.
