Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling will shut down its Ventura plant on July 10 after more than 100 years of production. The company submitted a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification to alert officials at least 60 days before major layoffs. The closure will affect 85 employees, with 78 reassigned to other facilities and the remaining workers able to apply for open roles at other Coca-Cola plants. Operations from the Ventura site will be transferred to other Southern California facilities. The company has also closed other locations, including a Bay Area plant in American Canyon and a Salinas location. Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling operates 22 manufacturing centers in California and 50 facilities across 10 states.
