The most attractive EYELASHES, according to science
"Ratings for health and attractiveness peaked when when the length of the eyelash was approximately one-third the width of the eye. But women with longer lashes were rated as more sexually receptive - meaning they looked like they were more open to casual flings. 'Results showed that eyelash length is positively associated with perceived sexual receptivity, suggesting that longer eyelashes might signal openness to casual relationships, despite lower attractiveness and health ratings,' the study, published in the journal Archives of Sexual Behaviour, reads."
"But a new study suggests that if you want to look your best, it's time to bin the falsies. Experts have revealed the most attractive eyelash length, according to science. Farid Pazhoohi, from the University of Plymouth, carried out a UK study involving 120 participants. He created computer-generated images of female faces representing a range of ethnic groups, with 11 variations of eyelash length for each. Participants were asked to rate how healthy, attractive and sexually receptive they perceived each woman to be."
In the UK, 120 participants evaluated computer-generated female faces across multiple ethnicities with 11 eyelash-length variations each for perceived health, attractiveness, and sexual receptivity. Health and attractiveness ratings peaked when eyelash length equaled roughly one-third of the eye width. Longer eyelashes correlated with higher perceived sexual receptivity despite lower health and attractiveness scores. Moderately long lashes enhance the eye without appearing artificial, while very short lashes can signal poor health or ageing and extremely long or artificial lashes appear unnatural. Eyelashes also function to protect the eye from contamination, evaporation, and airflow stress, and may indicate underlying health.
