From class to orbit: Students design and launch satellite
Briefly

A physics teacher at Croydon High School for Girls prompted students with the question, "Can we go to space?" The affirmative response led to a year-long project to design and create a CubeSat. This miniature satellite was engineered to record sunlight as it travels through Earth's orbit. The successful launch into low Earth's orbit marked a significant milestone, bringing the students' aspirations of space exploration one step closer to reality.
Arabi Karteepan, a physics teacher, inspired her students at Croydon High School for Girls to pursue a year-long project to design a CubeSat for space.
The CubeSat created by the students records how sunlight comes through Earth's orbit, turning their dreams of going to space into a reality.
