The original article regarding Human HDAC6 and its role in sensing valine abundance to regulate DNA damage underwent correction due to figure preparation errors. Specific mistakes involved swapped images in Fig. 2f and incorrect time points in Extended Data Fig. 7k. Additionally, inaccuracies were noted in Extended Data Fig. 10e concerning the images for HDAC6 variants. Updated figures have been implemented in the HTML and PDF versions, with original figures available as Supplementary Information.
In the initial publication, figure preparation errors altered the accuracy of several images. Corrections to these images have been issued for Fig. 2f and Extended Data Figs. 7k and 10e.
The WT images for DAPI and Merge in Fig. 2f were mistakenly swapped. Additionally, a 60-hour image was incorrectly selected for Extended Data Fig. 7k.
This amendment provides a correction to several figures published in the initial article, ensuring that accurate representations are available in the updated HTML and PDF versions.
The original figures, prior to correction, are accessible as Supplementary Information in conjunction with this amendment.
