Macklin Celebrini of the San Jose Sharks has been named a finalist for the Calder Trophy, awarded to the top rookie in the NHL. The 18-year-old, chosen first overall in last year's draft, led his team with 63 points in 70 games and was first in points per game among all NHL rookies. Fellow finalists include Lane Hutson of the Montreal Canadiens and Dustin Wolf of the Calgary Flames. Celebrini is also set to represent Team Canada at the IIHF World Championships this month.
