"A home run by San Francisco Giants star Rafael Devers on Tuesday quickly turned into a brawl that saw both dugouts emptied onto the field. The Giants took on the Colorado Rockies for the second game of their three-game series Tuesday. Just mere minutes into the game in the top of the first inning, Devers hit a two-run home run off of starting pitcher Kyle Freeland."
"After tracking the ball into the stands, the NBC Sports Bay Area broadcast switched to a shot of Devers rounding the bases but Devers was occupied with something else. Right around first base, the star infielder was shown jawing at Freeland. One of the umpires attempted to escort Devers to second base so he could continue his trip around the bases."
"Although Devers was temporarily out of the picture, Giants shortstop Willy Adames then approached Freeland and the two players appeared to swing at one another. Multiple players from both teams quickly swarmed the them. Devers found his way into the crowd of players and coaches as the group slowly moved toward second base. Things calmed down shortly after. Freeland, Adames, and Giants third baseman Matt Chapman were ejected as a result of the scrum."
