Wynn, an 11-year Astro, produced back-to-back All-Star seasons in Los Angeles and slashed .271/.387/.497 with 32 home runs and 108 RBI in 1974. His performance helped the Dodgers win a National League–best 102 games and reach the World Series, where they lost to the Oakland Athletics after beating the Pittsburgh Pirates in the NLCS. After 1975 Wynn was traded to the Atlanta Braves in a multi-player swap. On Dec. 6, 2005, the Dodgers hired Grady Little as manager following a 71–91 season.
