"As the New York Times reports, Lee gave his colleagues the VIP treatment during their visit, which included reservations to the coveted Silent Pig, tours of Namdaemun Market and Bukchon Hanok Village, a bibimbap cooking class with a celebrity chef, meetings with KBO officials and Korean sponsors, appearances at MLB Korea studios, and a baseball clinic at the LG Twins complex."
"As the Chronicle reports, San Francisco Giants center fielder Jung Hoo Lee was held for about four hours at Los Angeles International Airport Wednesday evening due to missing paperwork on his return to the US from South Korea. Lee was released that evening and made it to FanFest in San Ramon Saturday, per the Chronicle. Obviously, a bit hectic the last few days, but I'm glad everything's worked out, Lee said, with Giants' ticketing associate Brian Kang interpreting, per Bay Area News Group."
Jung Hoo Lee was held for about four hours at Los Angeles International Airport after returning from South Korea because of missing paperwork; he was released that evening and attended FanFest in San Ramon. Lee hosted 17 Giants players and executives in South Korea, including Buster Posey, general manager Zack Minasian, manager Tony Vitello, and shortstop Willy Adames. He organized VIP experiences such as a reservation at the Silent Pig, tours of Namdaemun Market and Bukchon Hanok Village, a bibimbap cooking class with a celebrity chef, meetings with KBO officials and sponsors, MLB Korea appearances, and a baseball clinic at the LG Twins complex.
