Tyler Wells allowed two earned runs on six hits over 5.2 innings in a rehab start for Norfolk, striking out four, walking one, and throwing 58 of 85 pitches for strikes. He is expected to make one more rehab appearance before rejoining the Orioles next week. Chayce McDermott recorded the final out of the sixth and Matt Bowman yielded a solo homer in the eighth. Silas Ardoin hit a ninth-inning solo and finished 2-for-4. At Double-A, Nestor German pitched five shutout innings and the Baysox bullpen completed a scoreless finale. Offensive contributors included Enrique Bradfield Jr.'s three singles, Creed Willems' sac fly and homer, and Adam Retzbach's two-run single.

Enrique Bradfield Jr. set the table with three singles from the leadoff spot.
