
Amy Gutierrez, with more than 20 years connected to the San Francisco Giants, has become co-general manager of the RedPocket Mobiles in the Pioneer League. The Mobiles are a new team named after a budget cellphone service provider and will play exclusively on the road for the entire 2026 summer. The schedule includes 96 games traveling from California to Montana, with the team together on buses throughout the season. Gutierrez works alongside Pioneer League director of baseball operations Al Maulding and has been learning GM responsibilities such as scouting trips, spring training in Arizona, and roster moves. The role also includes extensive off-field logistics, including arranging food for games.
