No charges will be filed against the woman arrested after the Hazie's altercation; she was arrested solely for public intoxication and released once sober. The San Francisco Police Department stated that arrests with the singular charge of public intoxication are not referred to the district attorney. The district attorney's office confirmed it never received a referral to review charges in the matter. The incident occurred Dec. 13 in Hayes Valley when Shireen Afkari yelled at Hazie's staff while filming, with the dispute continuing outside and involving an apparent boyfriend. Afkari was later fired from Strava, and Hazie's fired bartender Miguel Marchese after the owner said he was an insurance liability for tripping.
