The Victorian Alliance of San Francisco is hosting holiday home tours of five Alamo Square Victorian houses on Sunday, December 7 from 1–5 PM. Attendees can view principal rooms decorated in high-Victorian style, learn local history, follow recommended walking paths, and hear stories from docents and tour leaders about each home's history and decorations. Ticket prices are $50 for adults, $40 for members and groups of ten or more, and $10 for children ages 11–17 accompanied by a guardian. Proceeds support VASF operations and the Grants Committee, which funds repairs and restorations of publicly accessible San Francisco heritage sites; the Alliance has donated nearly $500,000 over fifty years.
