Japan Week 2025 is set to take place in San Francisco Japantown from June 15 to June 22, featuring a rich tapestry of Japanese cultural experiences. Attendees can enjoy traditional performances such as taiko drumming, awa odori dance, and karate, alongside engaging workshops where they can create washi ningyo dolls and practice origami. The event culminates in Japan Day on June 22, featuring free performances, a Gidayu demonstration, and a platform for community members, especially children and seniors, to showcase their newfound skills, celebrating cultural heritage and communal spirit.
