"So happy and proud that the Canadians were going to come to San Francisco Fleet Week. They've been on the schedule for quite some time, and they're on their way. The Colombian ship Gloria, absolutely fabulous. It's a tall ship,"
San Francisco's Fleet Week continues with international participation from Canada and Colombia despite U.S. Navy and Marine Corps absence. The Canadian Snowbirds performed a practice flight along the airshow route over the Bay Area. All U.S. Navy and Marine Corps units, including the Blue Angels, confirmed they will not participate this year because of the government shutdown. The event lineup includes the Patriot jet demonstration team and a P-51 Mustang honoring World War II aviation. The Colombian Navy training vessel ARC Gloria arrived early in the Bay with cadets aboard documenting the voyage. Organizers and officials expressed pride in international support and community celebration.
