"I have a very normal life. The only thing again is that I just don't make enough to pay rent. If I were making enough to pay rent, I would never be here,"
"Go to Daly City? In 2 weeks, Daly City will say the same, homeless out of here. You go to Oakland and in a month, they say homeless out of here. So, this is the game,"
"Oversized vehicles can no longer be stored on city streets, and we are pairing that expectation with real pathways to safe, stable housing, followed by consistent enforcement."
San Francisco will enforce a two-hour street parking limit for oversized vehicles and RVs, with towing for violations and phased implementation. Outreach begins September 1, and in October the city will enroll a limited number of eligible RV residents in temporary permits for up to six months while they pursue housing. City officials identified 437 occupied RVs and state that oversized vehicles cannot be stored on city streets while offering pathways to safe, stable housing. Many RV residents work and await subsidized housing, and several express concern that enforcement will displace people to neighboring cities.
